She is our Maebry Bunny!
Here are just a few pictures of our Mae-Mae that remind Dusty and I have very grateful and thankful we are for our little bunny baby.
A face that is already in our hearts. The photo just needs to be printed out for our wallets/picture frames.
Here is Maebry with her daddy as he enjoys a summer fav, the sno-cone. This particular treat is one of her Daddy's favorites, Dreamsicle.
Mae-Mae and her Dad-dae. Sleeping like they do. This was a nap taken before a big birthday party for our friend, Abbey.
Mommy and Mae letting out a little steam. For some our camera's focus messed up on my eyes. Oh well, Maebry looks cute even mad.

Mamama-Mae...Mae and her Great Mamaw's Bday
We had a great week and had some more great moments with our sweet bunny. Dusty and I are amazed everyday how much she is changing. Her face seems to be getting longer just like the rest of her body. She is even being more animated and alert.
Most days Dusty calls me at work or vice versa and I get to hear Mae's sweet voice through the phone. Sometimes its a big 'ole cry needing food or because she needs to pass gas.
Anyhow, we had very memorable weekend with Miss Mae and her extended family.
Maebry went to her first birthday party this past Saturday. She wanted to help her great-mamaw celebrated her 80th birthday. Just so everyone knows Maebry's middle name Lucille has special meaning to me because it is same as my Mamaw's middle name. Ida Lucille was raised during the great depression, worked in frosty-freeze with my grandfather, bore four children and later moved to ranch, which help make memories for all her grandchildren and even more memorable holidays or other family get togethers than anyone could ask for...
Here is Maebry meeting and greeting her second cousin Jadyn for first time...and I guess they some kind of baby sublimal messaging to one another. My Aunt Pam and I have no clue what they were saying but they stared at each other for quite some time.
Another unexplainable moment. Maebry for some reason gave her Uncle Mark a very strong looksie. I wonder what she saw.
Mommy and Maebry. And Maebry seems to be happy with her cute head band. Well, Mommy seems to think so.
Hey, Papaw Gary how far does my tongue stick out. Oh yeah, this much.
Mamaw and Mae having a face contest! Mamaw looks so sweet with her two newest great grandbabies!
Maebry being sweet and taking a little siesta on cousin Laura.
Mamaw and all of her GREAT grandkids! Too cute!!! It's too bad cousin Josh and his bunch weren't there, then all of the great grandkids would have been together...here's hopin for Christmas!

Overall the family had a very nice time celebrating Mamaw's 80th! Maebry really seemed to enjoy meeting all of family members for the first time. This trip was a great success!

"Bored to Death" - Not really...not with our lives
Well, I survived. I was able to work and not cry each morning I left Maebry and Dusty. Most mornings those two sweeties were sleeping because Daddy just got done doing a morning feed to help Momma get ready for work. Then ever so nicely, they both slip off into slumberland...one more time. Here are the faces I leave every morning...
I mean really, how cute are these face. I get sad just thinking about leaving them again. Don't you just love Dusty's tussled hair and sleepy Mae Mae.
Well, I hope everyone knows Dusty is still doing great with Mae. And I was so happy to have a short work week. But I am also happy to have such a great husband that can help take care of our child and also fiscally take care of our family
Here are a few photos from our short work week. Thanks to Labor Day on Monday and Friday being my day off...thank goodness for both. Yeah goooo three day work week.
Look Mom "No hands!" Here is Dusty showing everyone his cute baby carrier and yes, Mae is present just look how cute those legs are dangling all whilly-nilly like.
Here is Mae looking over her Daddy's shoulder and showing how alert she can be...and yes, it might be kind late at night but we love her anyways.
Here is Dusty and I enjoying our date night. Please note that we are taking a picture of ourselves while holding pictures of ourselves. Vane much!

And speaking of Friday. Maebry had a doctor's appointment Friday morning and we are proud to announce she is doing great and still gaining weight like crazy. She weighs 9 lbs, 11 ounces and she is 21 inches long. Our Pedi wanted Dusty and I to start putting a little bit of rice in some of Mae's milk. She is hoping, as are we, that she will get a little bit more rest at night. We started doing it at night. It seems to helping all the Kraatz's out. Here is to rice and many more sleepful nights.
Dusty and I were excited to tell everyone that on that very same Friday we were able to go on a date night. Dusty has a client that he works with who handles HBO promotional events. We were lucky enough to get invited to the Austin screening of the new HBO show "Bored to Death". We had free wine in coffee mugs (a la the show), free giant cupcakes and nifty pics in a photo booth. We really had SUCH a great time out on the town!

We spent the rest of the weekend taking it pretty easy and just enjoying our little Maebry Lucille! More updates to come! Thanks for reading and we love you guys!!!!

Three Day Weekend - More Mae Time
Hello all, well Dusty and I always love announcing our three day weekends. We were happy to have a three day weekend after surviving my first week back at work. Really, I think I wanted and needed more than Dusty and Maebry. I just love being home with my family they are the sweetest...and yes, it is nice to be missed and needed.
Dusty had a great weekend. He was able to go to Temple and get his first Friday Football (FF) under his belt. Temple lost but through it all I think Dusty was able to get his cameras up and running and provide the Temple Wildcat fans with some great live football footage.
I know Dusty already mentioned his parent came in town that weekend and we already showed those photos. But we found some more pictures from that weekend that we wanted to share.
On Saturday, we went up north to visit our dear friends Mark and Jessica. As you can see from our picture we wore our team colors and well, they wore another color...Burnt Orange, is what they call it ;)!! Just kidding guys! But on another note. The Aggies won and the Burnt Orange fans, UT, won as well. All I can say is go FOOTBALL!
On Sunday, we had our usual day of rest and relaxation. Oh yeah and laundry day. Good times. We also decided that we would venture out and take Mae on her first Target trip. She was put in her stroller and made to the women's department before it was time for a little bit of consoling time. So, I put her in her new fav place her "Sleepy Wrap". I walked around with my cute bundle of joy strap to my like a tight tank-top. She sleep the whole time. What a cutie!!

"Mommy, go to work"
Dusty and I watched a comedy special one time by Jay Mohr...funny guy! We found it fitting that one of his jokes was about his son sounding Asian every time he had to go back to the work. Each morning his son would stand by the door in his night gown and say "Daddy go to wooorke". This time it was "Mommy go to woooorke", but not before a nice relaxing Sunday. We know that Maebry isn't talking yet but her Mommy is going to work and needs a little bit more TLC (Taking Lots of Cuddle-time).
Here is a picture of Dusty and Mae enjoying our lovely Sunday together. I think Daddy is trying to watch some football while Mae is well watching something over to the right...who knows. Too CUTE!!

Grandmomma and Grandaddy came to see Maebry at the end of the week. Dusty went out to lunch at Garcia's with them (yummy!) and then spent some quality time with Mae while Daddy went to handle his first job for Temple High School of the year.

Here we see Mae in her pack and play showing off her newest fav toy...a rattle that Grandmomma and Grandaddy brought her last week. She can get it around her wrist and then goes to town shaking it about and looking around. Fun!

This is the typical scene when daddy waits just a litttle too long to get Mae some food...she's saying "I'M HUNGRY DADDYYYY!!!!" Cute, but we can't make her wait too long.

It seems that Maebry's idea of comfortable doesn't always match up with ours...but we prescribe to the "whatever works method".
Well, we survived the week and we are glad to have all our family and friends...and now our nanny there to help us make this transition a little bit easier. Thanks guys and we love you for it!!
Kiss, kiss, peck, lick and lick ~
