Mamama-Mae...Mae and her Great Mamaw's Bday

We had a great week and had some more great moments with our sweet bunny. Dusty and I are amazed everyday how much she is changing. Her face seems to be getting longer just like the rest of her body. She is even being more animated and alert.

Most days Dusty calls me at work or vice versa and I get to hear Mae's sweet voice through the phone. Sometimes its a big 'ole cry needing food or because she needs to pass gas.

Anyhow, we had very memorable weekend with Miss Mae and her extended family.

Maebry went to her first birthday party this past Saturday. She wanted to help her great-mamaw celebrated her 80th birthday. Just so everyone knows Maebry's middle name Lucille has special meaning to me because it is same as my Mamaw's middle name. Ida Lucille was raised during the great depression, worked in frosty-freeze with my grandfather, bore four children and later moved to ranch, which help make memories for all her grandchildren and even more memorable holidays or other family get togethers than anyone could ask for...

Here is Maebry meeting and greeting her second cousin Jadyn for first time...and I guess they some kind of baby sublimal messaging to one another. My Aunt Pam and I have no clue what they were saying but they stared at each other for quite some time.

Too cute! Here is Maebry with her Great -Mamaw and her second cousin Jadyn.

Another unexplainable moment. Maebry for some reason gave her Uncle Mark a very strong looksie. I wonder what she saw.

Mommy and Maebry. And Maebry seems to be happy with her cute head band. Well, Mommy seems to think so.

Hey, Papaw Gary how far does my tongue stick out. Oh yeah, this much.

Mamaw and Mae having a face contest! Mamaw looks so sweet with her two newest great grandbabies!

Maebry being sweet and taking a little siesta on cousin Laura.

Mamaw and all of her GREAT grandkids! Too cute!!! It's too bad cousin Josh and his bunch weren't there, then all of the great grandkids would have been together...here's hopin for Christmas!

Overall the family had a very nice time celebrating Mamaw's 80th! Maebry really seemed to enjoy meeting all of family members for the first time. This trip was a great success!
