Maebry's Crib Day

Hey guys, I needed to post this news this past weekend but Dusty and I were a little busy. So, sorry. But with out further adieu...

We now have a marvelous crib to in our nursery thanks to Dad (Alvie Kraatz) and Dusty. We are super excited and the crib looks great in Maebry's room.

Here is Dad and Dusty getting the bed out.

Here they are getting the big box out of the way. Good luck with the assembly, guys!

So, here is the crib fully assembled and beautiful. Here are couple views of her crib. We just love it. Oh yeah, Maebry's crib bedding is also pictured.

We hope you like every thing as much we do. I wanted to give a special thanks to Dad and Dusty for assembling such a great crib. And we wanted to thank Dad (Alvie) and Momma K (Cindy) for purchasing the crib. We are truly blessed for your help with Maebry's crib. Thanks for helping us get Maebry's nursery started. We love you guys!!

Earth Day 2009

Hello all, Dusty and I wanted to show you how we celebrated Earth Day 2009 with some of our fellow Guster fans. Guster has been around for a while and has some really great hits. Here are a few photos from our Earth Day, well, evening with Guster Celebration.

Here is Dusty and I at Stubb's. We are awaiting Guster and right now the "Sweet Wild Orange" band is playing.

Here are a few more from the show. Guster was amazing and Dusty was so excited that they played some of his favorite songs "Fa Fa" and "Demons".

We are glad that the Hill Country Conservancy had Guster headline the show. But just remember "you gotta keep it together!"

Easter Weekend on the Beach

Dusty decided that we needed a little getaway. So, we packed up the swim gear and the pups and headed to the coast, Port Aransas that is. We had a great time. We soaked up some sun, we took the dogs on a ton of walks and we made sandcastles, well sand animals.

Saturday left us with not much sun but hey we still had the beach. We drove around and visited shops and ate tons of seafood. Dusty even tried a new beer, Shandy, which is ale with lemonade. It was uber sour.

We had a great time and loved seeing the water. Dusty really misses the beach/ocean, he is a beach-luber but now he is a river rat...poor guy...well not really. I think he really just misses the salty air.

By the way, in case you forgot, Dusty was born in Houston and raised in Portland, which is by Corpus Christi...which is by the ocean... and has tons of salty air :)

Here are some of our pictures from our great weekend.

This is my sand turtle.

This is Dusty's sand shark.

This is our ice cream outing. Look at Dusty's primary-colored cone. Too pretty to be just vanilla flavored ice cream.

Dusty's 29th Birthday

Happy Birthday Honey! Dusty turned 29 today! He is super excited because he has gotten to eat birthday cake two days in a row. How you ask? His mom made him a birthday cake on Sunday, which is his favorite a strawberry lemonade cake (The pretty cake is below). This is a homemade cake made by his delightful and very understanding mom, Cindy. Understanding because she allowed her son many moons ago to invent a cake which he now gets every year. I know the cake sounds weird but if you know Dusty then you know all weird things taste...AWESOME!!

Here are a few pictures from our lunch with Dusty's parents, Cindy and Alvie, on Sunday. We took a few pictures of him with his gifts and his yummy cake. NUMMY! Thanks a ton to Mom and Dad for our great lunch, and our great Sunday evening. By the way, we had a yummy Smithville Ham with homemade Au-gratin Potatoes and Green Beans as sides.

And there are few pictures from today with his gift from me. I took Dusty out for a steak and a movie. Dusty finally got to see Watchmen. Wow, that movie will make you rethink human kind and what powers we really do and don't have. Oh yeah, I got Dusty the movie "Alien."

Kraatz's New Edition

We are super excited to announce the arrival of our first bunny and our baby girl, Maebry, to the world.

Please know that Dusty and I are going to try to keep up with our pregnany progression, pictures, and sonograms of Maebry. Really this blog is a family page for Dusty and I to stay in touch with our friends and family. But it's really devoted to our baby bunny, Maebry and all news related to her and her baby-venture in to the world.

We hope you enjoy our news and updates.
